Tales to Astonish #75
With the Leader seemingly killed by the Watcher's Ultimate Machine, the Hulk leaves the Leader's hideout with the Ultimate Machine to figure out what he should do next. While back at the military base, General Ross is overseeing the final implementation of the T-Ray, the "last" invention of Bruce Banner. Betty visits her father to try and appeal to him to release Rick Jones, who has been prisoner for being the only person who may know the Hulk's true identity.
While out in the desert, the Hulk tries to use the Ultimate Machine and it broadcasts to him the whereabouts of Rick. Finding that the boy is in trouble, and that only appealing to the President at the White House will free him, the Hulk leaves the Ultimate Machine behind to go and save his friend. After being left unattended, the Watcher has the Ultimate Machine returned to his home.
The Hulk's travels to Washington D.C. land the Hulk in conflict with the military once more, and before the Hulk can breach the White House he is blasted with the T-Ray. When the blinding flash ends, the Hulk finds himself in a post-apocalyptic future where soldiers have arrived to take him prisoner. This story is continued next issue...

Tales to Astonish #76
Having been transported to a dystopian future by the T-Ray, the Hulk finds himself attacked by an army of future warriors led by King Arrkam. Realizing the Hulk's power, Arrkam has the Hulk knocked out with a barrage of Delta Missiles which keep the Hulk distracted long enough for them to use their Captivator weapon to incapacitate and take the Hulk prisoner.
In present day Washington D.C., General Ross and Glenn Talbot try to figure out what happened to the Hulk after they shot him with the T-Ray, under pressure from their superiors for results.
Back in this distant future, the Hulk is taken to Arrkam's citadel. When the green goliath comes to, he is taken to Arrkam. The king asks for the Hulk's aid in stopping Arrkam's arch-nemesis in exchange for returning the Hulk back to his own time upon victory. The Hulk, not interested in the offer, goes on a rampage demanding to be sent back to his own time right away.
During his rampage, Arrkam's castle is attacked by the opposing forces who attack on giant tripod vehicles. The Hulk begins attacking them, smashing open the lead tripod to reveal the Executioner inside. This story is continued next issue...

In a distant future time the Hulk battles the Executioner, who has also been banished to this era and is in conflict with King Arrkam. Back in the present, General Ross has called in Rick Jones to explain what effect Bruce Banner's T-Ray had, and what Banner's connection to the Hulk may be. Jones can't answer his questions, and when he is dismissed he is unaware that Glenn Talbot has decided to tail Rick to try and find some answers.
Back in the distant future, the Hulk manages to fight off the Executioner and his attacking army, turning back the tide of war and winning a victory for King Arrkam. In the present, the guilt-wracked Rick Jones returns to Banner's secret lab to mourn the apparent death of his friend and determine what he should do next. Glenn eventually reveals himself to Rick and asks Rick to reveal the secrets he's obviously been hiding for months now that the Hulk has met his apparent demise.
Cracking under the pressure of keeping his secret, Rick reveals to Glenn that the Hulk was really Bruce Banner, and Glenn tries to get the despondent Rick to tell more. While in the future, the Hulk begins to fade away, being transported back to the present as the effects of the T-Ray wear off. The Hulk begins to rematerialize in Banner's old lab just as Talbot chases after Rick hoping to get more information out of him.

The Thung battles the Bulk when he suspects the Bulk of "tryin' to beat my time" with his girlfriend, Anemia. This is a loose parody of Fantastic Four Vol 1 25-26, though it also employs elements of the Thing's bout with the Silver Surfer from Fantastic Four Vol 1 55.
