Synopsis for "Reconciliations"

Bruce Banner is brought to Area 102, and reunites with Betty. Bruce becomes the Hulk and tries to leave, and the military responds with studied indifference, which confuses the Hulk. Cary St. Lawrence tracks him down, and spells out the Army's new position: they know they cannot beat him, and so they will not engage unless they have to. If he truly wishes to follow a dictat of "Hulk just want to be left alone", they can arrange this, but they are tired of fighting. The confused Hulk backtracks, claiming that if he wants to stay, no-one can tell him what to do.

The next day, Bruce leaves the base with Betty and General Ross to visit Rick Jones in the hospital. At the hospital, conversation is interrupted by a gang of giant robots working for the Troyjan aliens, who kidnap Bruce. When Bruce tries to "Hulk out", the Hulk part of his psyche refuses to cooperate: no-one tells Hulk what to do...
