Synopsis for 1st story
Nova provides a recap of how he is now fighting Warbringer as he recieved a call from his fellow Novas in need of help. He references how he has fought him twice, almost died, and is now greatful his fellow Champions are there to assist....even though they are fighting to save Thanos' Chitauri army
The Champions, led by Nova, continue fighting Warbringer and his specific Chitauri army. Snowguard takes a rough hit but Ms. Marvel helps her back into the fight. The Champions do notice the fight seems to be getting out of hand and too difficult for them.
Nova beckons to Warbringer asking why he is killing his own race (Thanos' Chitauri slave army). He says it is due to their weakness and that his commanded loyalists will never stop. Nova realizes his Champions need to concentrate on Warbinger to take him down so his loyal army will stop fighting.
The Champions as a team do solid work on Warbringer but it is Nova who uses a force blast to take him down. Nova then commands Warbringer's Chitauri army to stop killing and they do. Nova is proud and wishes his dad could see him
Thanos sarcastically congratulates the Champions which angers Ironheart. She attacks Thanos in rage who swiftly destroys her armor. Riri is embarrased and breaks down into tears.
The Champions leave Chitauri Prime and relish beating Warbringer to save the Chitauri lives but also feel guilt as they in turn assisted Thanos and at the same time were easily belittled by him.
On the Champions ship. Viv works to comfort RiRi who is embarrased and shell shocked by her quick bout with Thanos. Viv consoles RiRi and motivates her back to redesigning her armor again based on using her recent experience to improve it. In the background an Ultron bot surveils Viv and RiRi identifying them to an unknown source.
The Champions ship lands at a Nova outpost and Nova Commander Adsit is shocked the Champions defeated Warbringer and encourages them to avoid Thanos, which the Champions awkwardly laugh at. He also requests to speak with Nova Sam and the Champions fake that he is sick and left.....but Nova Adsit alerts the helmet dragging Nova Sam to him. He notes then quickly teleports the Champions away and keeps the helmet from Nova noting he is not authorized to have it and it is Nova Corps property. Nova Sam is shocked and heartbroken at losing it.
