History

When Devil-Slayer met Sunshine, he was mysteriously attracted to him. Eric tried to get him over his addiction to drugs and gratefully Sunshine followed suit. When the Devil-Slayer found himself fighting the demons summoned by Ian Fate to save his wife, Sunshine despite the pains he was having due to withdrawal, he put them on the back burner preferring to help Eric and hurried to Stephen Strange's mansion in request of his help.

Sunshine was later altered by Ian Fate to look like Eric's wife, and he sacrificed himself to save Eric's life as he was about to be stabbed in the back by one of Fate's demons.
