History
Irem was the stallion of Shah Amurath, great lord of the Turanian city of Akif.
Shah Amurath rode him when Conan, war-chief of the Kozaks, was dragged in chains in Akif. From Irem's back, he commanded to the executions of captives by horses-pulled dismemberment before Conan attacked him and made him fall from Irem, before attempting to escape the whole scene.[1]Paraphernalia
Equipment
Irem was equipped with an individual litter on the saddle for Shah Amurath. He had golden lower legs ornate protections, as well as a metallic forehead plate. His mane and tail were braided using golden buckles.[1]

- Irem, Iram, the City of Pillars, is the name of a lost city, region or tribe in the Quran. Irem was also mentioned by H.P. Lovecraft and other authors of the Cthulhu Mythos.
