The Iron Fist is the immortal dragon-hearted warrior of the mythical city of K'un-Lun. Empowered by Shou-Lao, Danny Rand has been transformed into a living weapon and remarkable martial artist by becoming an Iron Fist. His life has been connected to conspiracies surrounding K'un-Lun in complex ways. He returned to Earth and used the power of the Iron Fist to those in need of protection. Later on after losing his powers, the legacy of the Iron Fist was passed to Lin Lie, former Sword Master and wielder of Sword of Fu Xi, who upon being mortally wounded, has been reshaped by Shou-Lao into a successor of Rand as Iron Fist.
Iron Fist Legacy
Iron Fist is a title given to warriors who defeat Shou-Lao and gain its chi or, alternatively, are chosen to carry the mantle by the dragon. The first known Iron Fist was Fan Fei a million years ago, after her countless people held the title over the years. In the modern times Danny Rand held the title for decades, later on meeting and training his disciple Pei to become his successor, ultimately, Lin Lie was the one to become Rand's successor.
