Synopsis for "Destroy!"
As Hawkeye, Wonder Man, and Living Lightning defend Stark Enterprises against the invading Raiders, Seekers and Hunters, Iron Man, Darkhawk, and the rest of the West Coast Avengers branch infiltrate an island AIM complex, with Rhodes going in under cover using the Mauler armor. US agent parachutes onto the AIM Island to retrieve the Iron Monger armor and runs into the West Coast Avengers. As they argue Rhodes approaches the installation, but DeWitt's mercenaries are alerted to the deception and start a fight; the guards prove out of their league against the armored opponent, but an automated defense blows the Mauler armor to pieces.
Putting aside their issues, the Avengers race into battle, while back at Stark's plane, Rhodes removes his remote control helmet and thanks Tony for insisting he use it rather than wearing the armor. Iron Man sneaks into the complex, and is confronted by DeWitt's remote-controlled armor units, as DeWitt is now crippled and in a wheelchair. As Iron Man battles the units, DeWitt explains the origins of his grudge; he believes Stark stole his father's designs to create Iron Man, while his father died penniless and ridiculed. DeWitt then commands the entire AIM arsenal against Iron Man. Too much for DeWitt to handle, neural feedback causes a chain reaction that destroys the compound, killing DeWitt in the process.
Iron Man meets up with the Avengers and informs US Agent that the Iron Monger suit he seeks after has been destroyed. Later, Stark realizes that he can't stop the duplication of his inventions, but at least those duplicates grow more outdated every day, while his own become more sophisticated.

Synopsis for "Five Minutes"
Tony Stark realizes that Hydra has abducted a suit of his remote armor. After weighing his options, he determines that the best course of action would be to don his Stealth Suit and retrieve the armor as quickly and discretely as possible, as once his presence at the enemy facility is detected it would take roughly five minutes before every Hydra agent in the hemisphere were on his tail. He successfully infiltrates the island and defeats an advanced battlesuit that the manufacturer, Takahashi, had previously pitched to S.H.I.E.L.D. The facility's chief scientist taunts Stark that his presence has been detected and that they know that his stealth armor doesn't possess any onboard weaponry. The remote armor then immediately attacks Stark, however, he uses the Stealth armor's transmitter to override Hydra's control of the remote armor. This action also overloads the Hydra facility's power grid which will soon cause the base to self-destruct. The enemy agents flee the base in a panic as Stark leaves with the reclaimed armor.
