History
The forty-fifth Iron Man suit was created by Tony Stark, as a replacement of the Mark 43 and 44, and debuted when the Avengers confronted Ultron in Sokovia.[1]. It has a hexagonal-shaped figure around its arc reactor.

Capabilities[]
- Flight: The MK XLV, like the other suits, has the ability to fly.
- Repulsor Beams: The armor has the ability to project repulsor beams strong enough to destroy Ultron's sentries. Combined with Thor's lightning and the Vision's Mind Stone, it helped puncture the vibranium structure of Ulron himself.
- Unibeam: The Mark XLV can shoot powerful beam from the chest where the Arc Reactor is placed.
Trivia
- This armor is concept designer Phil Saunders' favorite Iron Man Armor from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.[2][3]
- According to Phil Saunders, even though it was never shown, the MK XLV is functionally similar to the MK XLII, in the sense that Tony Stark can call each piece to him separately.[4]
- During Marvel x Fortnite crossover: Absolute Doom, Anthony Stark (Earth-616) wears this armor after his first defeat against a Pandora's Box empowered Doctor Doom (Earth-616) and the destruction of his previous armor.
