The thirty-fifth Iron Man suit created by Tony Stark was a disaster rescue suit nicknamed "Red Snapper". It was designed to survive in dangerous places, and had telescopic arms and claws ideal for disaster rescue missions.[1] It was an immediate upgrade over the MK XXXIV, the Disaster-Rescue Suit Prototype.[2]
The Red Snapper suit was among those summoned by Stark to battle Extremis-enhanced soldiers assisting Aldrich Killian's plot. It was controlled at the time by J.A.R.V.I.S., Stark's A.I. program. It was destroyed early in the fighting, when several Extremis soldiers latched onto it, one of whom wrenched off its visor. With the loss of its sensory gear, the Disaster Rescue Suit went out of control and careened into Killian's temporary headquarters, exploding violently from the collision.[3]

First revealed in the application 146378445531115 Iron Man 3: Armor Unlock for the official Iron Man 3 Facebook page, in which a participant has to correctly answer sets of questions about the cinematic version of Iron Man in order to unlock exclusive looks of new Iron Man armors to appear in the Iron Man 3 movie and the chance to win a trip to the premiere of the film in Los Angeles.
