History
In its motorbike mode, this armor was used by Tony Stark to travel to the Xavier Institute for Mutant Education and Outreach after being summoned due to the ongoing investigation for the disappearance of Wolverine's body. He deployed the armor in its heavy weapons configuration after the institute was targeted by projectiles dropped from orbit by Soteira. With the help of Storm and Firestar, Iron Man managed to stop three of the four projectiles. Kitty Pryde phased through the planet to open a path down to the magma layer, so the final projectile wouldn't hit the Xavier Institute.[1]
Properties[]
Overview[]
This suit is most likely designed with the main purpose to operate as a regular motorbike as well. The armor additionally seems to possess many configurations, including a heavy weapons mode. When deployed into a suit, the armor appears to possess the standard abilities of a regular Iron Man Armor, including flight. Once deployed, all of the motorbike's components turn into the armor, with the exception of the wheels. The suit can deploy an array of inertial dampeners capable of attaching to other objects and bleed off their velocity. Its systems are controlled by Friday.[1]Notes
- The numerical designation provided in this article for this suit is tentative, based on the last officially numbered armor (Model 52) and the chronological appearance of this suit.
- Despite coming out months after Tony Stark: Iron Man #1, Hunt for Wolverine: Dead Ends #1 most likely takes place chronologically before it. Friday is shown as the on-board A.I. of the armor Iron Man is wearing in Hunt for Wolverine: Dead Ends, whereas in Tony Stark: Iron Man #1 Tony was without an on-board A.I., because, as revealed in Tony Stark: Iron Man #2, he had downloaded Friday into a body of her own.
