History

While trapped in the year 1,000,000 B.C., Tony Stark was forced to build a new armor from the materials available to him. This "Ice Age Man" armor was powered by Vibranium batteries and used circuitry salvaged from the ruined Extremis Armor. This armor was used in battle against Mephisto, but it began to break apart by a combination of the demon's attacks and the high battery usage causing it to melt. Stark concentrated all of the armor's power in a repulsor blast directed towards the Time Stone in Mephisto's possession. The attack caused the suit to shatter, but Tony was returned to his time afterward.[1]

Properties[]

Overview[]

As an incredibly low-tech armor, the Ice Armor seemed only have very basic offensive capabilities, firing icicles from a wrist cannon. It was capable of a repulsor blast, but the more Vibranium power used by the armor, the more it melted. In regards to defensive capabilities, the armor did allow Tony to survive going toe-to-toe with Mephisto, though the armor was damaged by the demon's blows.[1]

Notes

  • The numerical designation provided in this article for this suit is tentative, based on the last officially numbered armor (Model 52) and the chronological appearance of this suit.
