Synopsis for "All Kinds of Fear"
Fedders is working in a lab when he is interrupted by a breach of the wall by a man wearing what appears to be strength-enhancing equipment. The man searches for Cornelius Van Lunt but is unable to locate him.
Meanwhile, Rhodes is testing out the Iron Man armor with Morley Erwin but is struggling with the enhancements that were added to the suit on Battleworld.[1] He removes the faulty additions but is left with out the gloves and repulsor ray tech.
Back at this apartment, he accepts a job from Regis Fusskey to protect a property he owns on the west side of Manhattan and then goes and retrieves a pair of gloves created for him that lack the repulsors. While in flight, he witnesses a group of suited men entering a manhole in the ground and follows them where he encounters them threatening Fedders for not delivering equipment they hired him for. Iron Man breaks up the encounter and gets Fedders to explain Van Lunt is part of the Zodiac crime cartel and of his plan to muscle in on the Maggia’s local turf and that the man who had attacked earlier was part of a second Zodiac group hired by the Maggia. He enters Van Lunt’s lab and encounters him at the same time the man in question arrives to confront him. Iron Man moves Van Lunt to a safe location and battles the man but discovers him to be unnaturally strong and resistant to his attacks. Eventually, he discovers the man is a robot and succeeds in disabling it by luring him in close and activating his chest uni-beam.
Tony Stark is nearby and witnesses the fight. He walks away from the crowd as he sees them cheering Rhodes’s victory.
Back with Clytemnestra and Morley, Rhodes is annoyed at Fusskey’s fees from the damage sustained to his building while fighting the robot but is still happy to get paid. To Rhodes and Morley’s surprise, Clytemnestra tells them that the base place to start up their electronics business would be Silicon Valley and she’s already started preparations,
