Synopsis for "Otherwhere!"
Tony Stark, wearing the Iron Man armor modeled after the original suit is carrying the monster Godzilla away from an inhabited island in the South Pacific after coming to Hawkeye and Mockingbird's aid against Doctor Demonicus.[1] The creature is putting too much strain on the armor's boot jets forcing him to drop the creature into the ocean and to fall in himself. The armor is too heavy for him to swim without any power and forces him to discard it but he is hopelessly lost at sea without any land in sight while Hawkeye and Mockingbird go looking for him in the Quinjet.
Meanwhile, Jim Rhodes arrives at the St. Louis lab of Henry Pym hoping to find a cure for his recurring headaches. Pym is explaining the nature of his current research to Rhodes regarding the disappearing mass from his transitions to Ant-Man and the presence of a portal in the lab, but they are suddenly held at gunpoint by a man looking to hide from law enforcement by being shrunk down to a size that would still keep him to a fairly normal height but make him less conspicuous from his current large stature. Rhodes intervenes and attacks the man but the man and Pym are sucked into the portal. Rhodes dons the Iron Man armor in order to rescue Pym and Pym's assistant Alice Nugent beseeches Rhodes to save him, giving him a device that should help him find his way back.
Cly and Morley wonder about Tony's whereabouts after Bethany Cabe shows up looking for him at the Circuits Maximus headquarters. Meanwhile, Hawkeye and Mockingbird are about to give up their hopeless search due to an approaching storm when they arrive at the other abandoned Quinjet in the water and discover Tony aboard safe and sound and having made necessary repairs.
The Enforcer is hired by Obadiah Stane to kill the Termite after his recent failures but is murdered by a shadowy female figure after leaving his hotel. Meanwhile, Rhodes floats through the disorienting dimension before running into Pym and the man that held them at gunpoint. Nugent is dealing with the sudden appearance of a shapeless blob in Pym's lab but they manage to escape from the dimension, returning to the lab and dissipating the blob using Iron Man's repulsors. The others are shocked after the criminal decides to return to the dimension to use as a hideout and Pym mentions that they should start looking into how to address Rhodes's headaches.

Notes
- The creature seen in the beginning of this issue is the famous mutated dinosaur known as Godzilla. This is technically Godzilla's final appearance, though a creature who resembles Godzilla is seen in the pages of Mighty Avengers #1.
- This issue contains a letters page "Printed Circuits". The "Howard Mackie Picture Contest Winners" are depicted. This page also contains a "Statement of Ownership, Management, and Circulation".
Trivia
- Throughout 1985, a masked villain known only as the "Scourge of the Underworld" assumed various identities and targeted members of the superhuman community, ultimately assassinating them. Scourge's murders took place in various titles and culminated in Captain America #319.
- The cover of this issue is somewhat reminiscent of Iron Man's "Tales of Suspense" covers such as this one.
