History
The Russian was a Herculean and pitiless mercenary, a killer who sold himself to the better offerent. When Howard Saint hired him to kill Frank Castle, the Russian reached him in his apartment, starting a brutal fight.
For the whole match, the colossal killer had the upper hand, throwing Castle all over the rooms, crashing furniture and walls, ignoring Frank's punches and even stabbings. Eventually, Castle managed to throw some boiling water in the Russian's face, badly burning him, and then made him fall from the stairs, apparently breaking his neck.[2]Attributes
Abilities
Peak Human Condition: The Russian was in peak physical condition with high levels of strength, durability, stamina, and reflexes.
- Peak Human Strength: The Russian had nearly superhuman strength. He was able to easily overpower the Punisher (a grown man) and punch a hole through his door. He decked him with a single hit, and proceeded to toss him around his apartment. He lifted him from the ground by the neck with just one hand and forced him to stab himself with his butterfly knife. He caught a strike from the Punisher and disarmed him of his weapon, throwing him to the floor, and swung it to hit a grenade through his bathroom window. He effortlessly put his head through the damaged bathroom wall, and pulled a toilet from the floor with which he hit the vigilante again, knocking him through another wall. He broke through more of the wall to keep fighting him, strangling him and slamming his head with his refrigerator door. He used a dumbbell to bend the barrel of the Punisher's revolver, and threw him through yet another wall. He pushed him through another apartment door and continued to brutally strangle him.
- Peak Human Durability: The Russian was immensely durable by human standards. He was unfazed by being hit by the Punisher, and was not uncomfortable with punching through his door. He remained standing after the Punisher kicked him in the face and, even more impressive, was unfazed when the latter stabbed him with his butterfly knife. He continued to fight the vigilante after he broke a box over his head, hit him in the gut with metal, and struck him across the face with a tool. The Punisher had to resort to throw boiling water in his face to deter him. He also did not survive falling down the stairwell.
- Peak Human Stamina: The Russian also had great stamina. He exerted himself for a long period of time during his duel with the Punisher. The Russian felt or had no signs of pain when he got stabbed by the Punisher's butterfly knife.
- Peak Human Reflexes: The Russian also had good reflexes; he swatted away the Punisher's grenade with a metal tool, sending it into his bathroom window.
