History
JOD1E was created by Alvin Tarleton as a means to be a comforting program for whenever his son George, a.k.a. M.O.D.O.K. was offline. Following his transformation into M.O.D.O.K. Superior, he began to see JOD1E manifest as Jodie, his wife in a hallucinatory simulation along with their "children" Lou and Melissa.[1] These images showed Jodie as M.O.D.O.K.'s loving wife who despite his status as a villain, loved him dearly.[2]
When M.O.D.O.K. discovered the truth behind these images, Jodie became noticeably more cynical, as if their marriage was starting to fall apart. M.O.D.O.K. instead, took advantage of Alvin; destroying his body, but trapping his mind in his cell phone. Afterwards, M.O.D.O.K. took all the information from his hallucinations of JOD1E and implanted them into empty Adaptoids, thus making Jodie, Lou and Melissa real as part of his evil family.[3]Trivia
- Jodie was added to the mainstream Marvel Universe as a response to the then upcoming Marvel's M.O.D.O.K. series which featured M.O.D.O.K. in a more comical sitcom setting.
