History
Jaboa Murphy is an Australian resident who is believed to be an ancestor of Michael Korvac, a ruthless computerized villain from the 31st Century of Earth-691. Years ago, Korvac traveled to the modern age of Earth-616 where he stole information from the Worldship of Galactus, endowing him with godlike powers. Korvac then attempted to take over the universe, but he was opposed by the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Avengers. During the final battle, Galactus became aware that Korvac tampered with his computers and sought to destroy him. He then fired a blast from the Ultimate Nullifier toward Earth to destroy Korvac. Detecting this, Korvac then vacated his body sending out a genetic packet to his closest living ancestor, leaving the Avengers and the Guardians to think that Korvac was dead. In reality, the genetic packet containing Korvac's mind and power was transferred to Jaboa where they remained dormant for years.
Eventually, the Guardians of the Galaxy became aware of this deception and returned to the modern era of Earth-616. This time, they enlisted the aid of the Fantastic Four to help them stop Korvac. With the inventions of the Fantastic Four's Mister Fantastic, they tracked Jaboa as she was wandering in a daze across the Australian outback. When they attacked, Korvac's personality and powers took control of Jaboa's body, and he incapacitated everyone except Reed Richards. Reed used his Time-Platform to travel back in time to the first Korvac battle and redirect the beams of the Ultimate Nullifier into the present. When faced with imminent destruction once again, Korvac fled Jaboa's body and disappeared into the future to try his plan again.[1]
Jaboa's subsequent fate following the departure of Korvac from her body is unrevealed at this time.Attributes
