History
Jack Kooning refused Dum Dum Dugan's resignation from S.H.I.E.L.D..[2]
He later contacted Maya Hansen and offered her to continue her work on the Extremis virus.[3]
At Kadena Air Base, Jack questioned Director Stark's mission to the Hu Po Psychiatric Institute.[4]
Jack Kooning then told Iron Man that the Mandarin was dead and Maya Hansen committed suicide in a hotel room in Paris.[5]
When the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier moved to Omaha, he was pushed by Tem Borjigin to get Iron Man out of the city.[6]
At the C.S.A.'s close session regarding Gadget's death, he called forward Maria Hill as a witness to prove Director Stark's instability.[7]
He later informed the Mandarin that Stark was still in Omaha, despite the investigation being formally closed.[8]
Soon after Maya Hansen told him about her suspects about Borjigin, Jack confessed everything to Iron Man and Leonard Samson.[9]
Then, he traveled to the Kachin state in Burma, where he met his old friend Xang, asking to help him killing the Mandarin.[1]
After he agreed, he was transported by Buck Richlen somewhere near Tem Borjigin's summer residence in Tianjin, China. He tried to sneak out and kill him, but was caught and decapitated on the spot.[10]
