A Life-Model Decoy of Special Agent Jack Kubrick that was stored aboard a S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, was used by the hero known as Machine Man as a backup for his consciousness when his primary body was damaged. He briefly assumed Kubrick's identity and was subconsciously driven to find his own body. Once he connected his X-51 head with the LMD's body, he merged the two forms, destroying the LMD.[1]
