History

The Jackal-Hulks were two giant, mutated clones of Dr. Miles Warren, the insane criminal known as the Jackal.[1][2]

The original Jackal-Hulk was hibernating inside a clone casket in a secret section of the Jackal's old laboratory at the Empire State University.[1] When Raymond Warren and Seymour Krepps were sent to inspect the lab, Miles awakened the creature to create a distraction so he could kill and replace his older brother, intending to continue his research under Krepps' nose.[2] The Jackal-Hulk subsequently went on a rampage on the campus, catching the attention of two Spider-Men (Peter Parker and Miles Morales). The duo worked together and subdued the Jackal, with it being taken to the Raft by the police soon afterwards.[1]

The second Jackal-Hulk was created for the Jackal by K.N.A.I.V.E., the core artificial intelligence of the fantasy-fulfilling program called Arcadium. After Spider-Man (Peter Parker) knocked out the Jackal, the second Jackal-Hulk attempted to attack him, but the other Spider-Man (Miles Morales) pretended to be the Jackal and ordered the creature to stand down.[2]

Notes

  • Despite their names, the Jackal-Hulks are not gamma mutates; their name simply refers to their hulking size.
