History

Delillo chased by Purity

Jake Delillo was a 17-year-old boy who was active in Katherine Pryde's mayoral campaign, although he wasn't old enough to vote. He was depicted by his relatives as an honor student and a great athlete.

For his political engagement to a mutant and pro-coexistence candidate, he was chased by Purity thugs and beat him to death in an alley.

Soon after his corpse was found, he was visited by Kitty Pryde. She was shocked and very emotional about the death of her young supporter. His murder was analysed by Alice Tremaine, head of the Purity party, as proof of the danger to mix by force the two species.
