Jake Farmington was one of the U.S. Generals who sent a highly trained team after the Punisher. They managed to eventually capture him as Frank would not use lethal force against U.S. soldiers. The man the Generals used to run this operation had, unbeknownst to them, been saved by Castle in the early days of his military career and felt that he owed Castle, leading him to let Castle go and walk away just as the Generals were coming to kill him personally. As none of the Generals had any combat experience Castle killed them all with ease.[1]
