History
Jallarka was a privately owned island located somewhere in the Caribbean. During the 1970s, a wealthy oil baron leased the island from the reigning government of an unidentified country to use as his "private little hedonistic playground". Sometime later however, the government that leased the island to the oil baron was overthrown and the oil baron offered up his own private army in order to reinstate their power base. In exchange, the oil baron received permanent ownership of the island.
Five years ago or so, the oil baron's sons began building the island up as a vacation resort for the extremely wealthy. Two years ago, they established a chain of casinos across the island that serviced an extremely exclusive clientele.
More recently, Jallarka became the target of Deadpool who sought to plunder the island's riches in his new vocation as a pirate. He found competition in the form of another criminal known as "Wackbeard the Pirate".[1]
