History
Sometime before Doom's attack, Winter Soldier attempted to launch a nuclear missle from the Helicarrier. Fortunately the plot was thwarted by Captain America although the Winter Soldier managed to escape. Having known Winter Soldier from their time working together in World War II (when the Soldier was known as Bucky), Captain America said that he wouldn't fight Winter Soldier because of their work during the War. Even though he said that, he defeated Winter Soldier again alongside the Ultimate Alliance, when James teamed up with Radioactive Man as part of the Masters of Evil.[1]

Equipment
A uniform composed of steel mesh and chain mail. 'Formerly' (as the Winter Soldier) body armor, (as Bucky) a bullet proof fabric costume. Both as Bucky and the Winter Soldier, he has a Mechanical Arm.
