History

James Callaghan was Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1976 to 1979. He encountered Captain Britain, Captain America, and Nick Fury during his time in office. During an attempted invasion of Britain by the Red Skull, the Skull kidnapped Callaghan, but Callaghan was rescued by Captain Britain.

Callaghan was eventually succeeded in office by Margaret Thatcher.
