Matt Rocks explaining his origin story

Matt Rocks was a duplicate of Madrox Prime, originally sent out to study law. After graduating from law school and passing the bar, Matt Rocks took up permanent residence in Los Angeles and became "the best entertainment lawyers in L.A." While Madrox Prime (or "Big J") has reabsorbed several dupes, he opted to allow Matt Rocks to continue his operations in L.A. in exchange for him sending half of his earnings to Madrox Prime.[2]

The Law Offices of Matt Rocks, Esq.

Matt Rocks once allowed She-Hulk to use his L.A. law offices temporarily and aided her during her defense of Steve Rogers.[2]

Abilities

Unlike some of his wayward dupes, Matt Rocks has retained his ability of Kinetic Duplication. However, because Matt Rock is a dupe himself, his dupes are less intelligent/independent than the average dupe.[2]

Matt Rocks' less sharp dupes

  • Matt Rocks alias is a near homophone with his progenitor's surname name, Madrox. Also, he rocks.[2]
