Wasp was he leader of the Avengers. During a battle between the Avengers and the Hulk, Spider-Man arrived wearing the Black Suit. Wasp watched as the suit detached from Spider-Man and bonded to Hulk and discovered that Peter Parker had been rapidly aged. She later attended Peter's funeral and then enlisted the help of Reed Richards to develop a weapon kill the creature. She was present during the battle at Mount Rushmore and watched as they finally killed the creature.[1]
