History
After his spaceship crashed on Earth, Jason was assisted by Meredith Quill where he formed a romantic relationship with her. Wishing to shield Meredith from the pain of his departure, J'son erased her memories of him, without knowing that the two had conceived a child. And thus their son Peter who would later become Star-Lord was born.[2]
