History
In the 1980s, Jason Quill was present at his daughter Meredith's side as she was dying of cancer. He placed her final gift to her son, Peter, in his backpack.[2]
Over thirty years later, he was later shown to still be alive on Earth. He was driving in his car with a companion, when a giant ooze emerged from the ground and nearly consumed the town.[3]
Some time after the Blip, Jason would reunite with Peter, who had returned to Earth after one last adventure with the Guardians of the Galaxy in hopes of rebuilding their fractured relationship.[1]Notes
