Birth & Childhood
Jason Stryker was born after his parent's, Sgt. William and Marcy Stryker, car crashed in the Nevada desert. Sgt Stryker was stationed on a nuclear testing facility when Marcy had become pregnant. Alone in the desert, Marcy went into labor and Sgt. Stryker was forced to deliver the baby himself.[1]

Jason was kept by his father, who resorted to A.I.M. in order to treat Jason's "condition."[2]
Purifiers
As an adult, Jason joined the Purifiers to continue his father's work, and faced the original X-Men, who were brought to the present from the past.[3] He was defeated by the X-Men and arrested by S.H.I.E.L.D..[2]Attributes
Powers
The full extent of his powers are unknown, but he was powerful enough to unleash enough energy to knock out all of the Original X-Men. [4]
Weaknesses
He has strong headaches stemming from genetic manipulation from A.I.M. under the permission of his father.[2]
Notes
Originally, as depicted in Marvel Graphic Novel #5, Sgt. Stryker stabbed the newborn Jason. When his wife woke from unconsciousness and asked if the baby was okay, Sgt. Stryker hugged her and snapped her neck. Horrified at his actions, Sgt. Stryker noticed that the car was leaking gasoline and placed his family back in the car, sat in the driver's seat, and lit a match. The car exploded, but Sgt. Stryker was thrown from the car and spared from death. Jason himself wasn't ever shown or named in it.
