Jat Vor-Thrul[source]

History

Jat and his team had a couple run-ins with the X-Men. When they first arrived on Earth, Jack and his companions were hoping to make a quick buck by plundering Danger and handing Charlie X in for a reward.[citation needed] Then, once Rogue went out into space in search of missing X-Men, she ran across the Salvagers again, some of whom wished to kill Rogue for old times sake. On both occasions, Jat was the only member of the crew who showed some fondness for Rogue and who had a more amicable stance with the X-woman. When Jat and his team attempted to scavenge some technology from a deserted Shi'ar colony before it was consumed by its own sun. In order to save the lost X-Men's companions, Havok and Polaris, as well as their Starjammer friend Korvus, they teamed up with Rogue, Rachel, Magneto, and Gambit.[citation needed]

Despite the fact that most of the other members were picking on Rogue on multiple occasions, Jat remained cordial.
