Quote1.png For I am the executioner now. I am punishment without mercy. I am the machine that kills... I AM THE GUILLOTINE! Quote2.png
-- Jean Desmarais src

In October of 1793, Jean Desmarais was being prosecuted under the allegations he was a Girondist sympathizer and counter-revolutionary. He found himself escaping from his former allies in the Parisian catacombs, where under his desperation, came across a sword that communicated with him and convinced him to swear a blood oath to become its user, as a mean to destroy his enemies.

The curse of the sword was passed on to Jean's descendants, and lasted the passing of time into the present, with its latest user being Jeannine Sauvage.[1]
