Jean Davis (married name "Jean Goodman" was the wife of publisher Martin Goodman, and was credited as co-owner of Marvel Comics in 1952. She worked as an editor for Timely Comics from 1944 to 1947, and is also credited for writing a number of text stories from 1946 to 1947. She was reportedly a relative of comic book writers Stan Lee and Larry Lieber.
Jean's son, Chip Goodman, was the editor in charge of the 1970s Atlas Comics. The company was a short-lived rival for Marvel Comics, set up by the Goodman family. By that time they had sold their rights to Marvel to other owners.Work History
