History

Much of the history of the girl named Jean Grey remains a mystery. Jean gained infamy when her powers manifested in a fiery explosion. Reports say the explosion looked like a Phoenix. The explosion leveled Albany, New York and killed approximately 600,000 people.

In response to the explosion, the United States Air Force launched strikes and bombed the area. It was assumed Jean Grey died during bombing.

Some believe that Revenant was some new form of Jean Grey because of her Phoenix shaped energy halo as well as her telekinetic and pyrokinetic powers.
