History
Jean Grey joined the island of Krakoa created by the X-Men. She participated in the destruction of Master Mold, dying in the process, but was resurrected by the Five right after that.[1] On the island, she chosen as a member of the Inner Circle.[2]

When Orchis send the Tri-Sentine to attack Krakoa, Cyclops had Jean rally all the nearby mutants to fight back and protect the island.[2] During the Inner Circle Gala, Jean and Cyclops announced that Krakoa was changing its X-Men roster, with every X-Man chosen by a psychic vote. To finish the Gala off, Jean harnessed the power of the Phoenix Force for creation instead of destruction, and worked with other powerful mutants to transform Asteroid M into Asteroid X, a space habitat for the mutants of Arakko.[3]
When Krakoa was on the brink of being destroyed by Nimrod, Jean prepared to unleash the Phoenix Force, but Jubilee realized that it could give her one last use of her resurrection powers. Jean warned Jubilee that this would probably erase her secondary mutation, but Jubilee proceeded regardless.[4]See Also
