History
Jen Walters' history is presumably similar to her Earth-616 counterpart's. She traveled to the planet of Sakaar to help her cousin the Hulk bring peace to it. She helped establish a lasting peace between the Third and Fourth Imperium.[2]
She also helped Hulk fight off the Fifth Imperium in order to defend the last remaining Shadow Elders. Despite their best efforts, however, Sakaar was devastated by their constant attempts to help. The Hulk eventually went into hiding while Jen helped the floating city of Sky City that was built by Amadeus Cho as a safe haven for Sakaar's people. When Cho went into hiding as well, there was no one to help maintain it. To ensure the city remained floating, Jen turned herself into a gamma battery for the next 83 years.
When Cho and his granddaughter Tala came to Sky City to seek Jen's help in rescuing some Haarg children being held prisoner by Grand Priestess Venkiera, Jen agreed to help and disconnected herself from the system that kept the Sky afloat. Jen promised Sky City that she would continue helping it when she returned.
With help from Korg, Jen battled Venkiera's forces while Cho and Tala rescued the children. However, this was all a trap set up by Venkiera, who tried to trick Cho into bringing the Hulk so she could siphon his gamma energy to power a doomsday weapon and eliminate the Haarg from Sakaar by destroying the planet itself. Venkiera chose to use Jen instead, and her gamma energy was enough to power the weapon.[1]
As Venkiera was taking off in her Stone Starship, Cho managed to free Jen from the machine with help from Korg. Despite her weakened conditions, Jen helped evacuate civilians to a floating ship and take them to Sky City. Cho then used his limited gamma reserves to help Sky City fly to safety. Jen wanted to use her gamma energy to keep the city afloat, but Tala suggested that they find Banner. Jen and the others met with Banner and convinced him to help save Sakaar.[4]
Using his intelligence, Cho located Venkiera's doomsday machine, and Banner destroyed it. However, the machine's true function was to stop the spinning of Sakaar's molten core, leaving the planet vulnerable to cosmic rays that the core's magnetic field fended off as part of Venkiera's insane plan to cleanse Sakaar by killing everyone, including herself. Jen, Tala, and Cho fended off the cosmic rays long enough for Banner to jump-start the core's spin by striking it. With Sakaar saved, everyone began making peace.[3]Attributes
