History
Jeremiah Kaine was one of the original Midnight Suns in the early 1700s. Brought to Salem aboard the slave ship "Desire", he was freed some years later and built a successful farm of his own. Becoming a Spirit of Vengeance to protect less fortunate and to punish the wicked, he and the rest of the team fell in the final battle against Lilith in 1712, when Hunter sacrificed their life to end hers. Jeremiah and his fallen teammates were buried on the Abbey grounds, where a statue in his likeness was erected over his grave.[1]
Trivia
- Like all of the original Midnight Suns, Jeremiah Kaine has a close counterpart in powers and personality in the modern version of the team, his case being Robbie Reyes, the current Ghost Rider.
