After realizing what The Eyes were he thought about how to reject them and he had an intuition when his girlfriend Helen was annoyed by the light of a lamp so he thought that hitting with a beam of light coming from a torch could have irritated The Eyes, and so it was that they managed to repel those monstrosities.[1]
