History

Spider-Woman seemingly had the same history as her Earth-616 counterpart. During an assault on Spider-Queen, the majority of the Resistance's superheroes were captured by the Queen, with only Jessica and Agent Venom escaping.[1]

After Venom's mole, Werewolf by Night, revealed the possibility of a cure at Horizon Labs, he informed Jess of his secret plan. He and the Vision had been gathering items that could overwrite spider-DNA and remove the Queen's control. The three then purposely fell into a trap set by the spider-powered heroes, in order to transform them into different monsters: Using the Man-Wolf's gemstone, King Spider was turned into a werewolf; using Morbius' serum, Captain Marvel was turned into a vampire; and using the Lizard serum, Spider-Hulk was turned into a Lizard-like creature.[1] In preparation for Carol's transformation into a vampire, Jess had organized blood donations from members of the Resistance, ensuring that she would not be overwhelmed by bloodlust. [2]

Jess took part in the assault on The Queen's Castle. Unhappily, she advocated killing Ana, believing they had no other way to free Manhattan.[3] Spider-Woman watched as Flash and his symbiote sacrificed themselves to get Spider-Queen in position to get her killed by Stegron and his Dinosaurs.[4]

Days later, she became involved in the rebuilding of Avengers Tower and was present when Dino-Thor, the Thor Corps representative of the Valley of Flame, came on behalf of God Emperor Doom to pick a new baron of Spider-Island. Jess and the rest of the reformed Avengers all voted Spider-Man.[4]
