History
Jessica Drew was poisoned by uranium found in her father's home. She was given an experimental serum created from the blood of multiple types of spiders and placed in a Genetic Accelerator. She awoke decades later, with both amnesia and superpowers. Jessica was found by Hydra and trained as an assassin. She escaped and became a super hero under the codename Spider-Woman.[1]
As Spider-Woman, she was recruited by S.H.I.E.L.D. into the Spider-Men, a group of Spider-Man analogs assembled to combat the Multiversal Sinister Six.[1]
