Synopsis for 1st story

In a voiceover, Jessica describes the torment of her first encounter with Killgrave and the paranoia of knowing her may come back at any time, because he is on the loose again. She asks Carol Danvers for help and Carol lets her in her apartment.

Meanwhile Purple Man is at an animal theme park, but when people begin to notice him and talk about him, he orders everyone to leave the arena.

They go to one of Fury's secret bases where Jessica calls Luke Cage and asks him to say their code word. At first oblivious, Luke (who has been in Harlem taking down Armadillo with Iron Fist) quickly realizes the danger and leaps into action. The women get baby Dani to the secret base to keep her safe. Carol leaves Jessica and her daughter there to rally some superheroes and take down Purple Man, but once she is gone, Dani begins speaking, telling Jessica it’s nice to see her smile again. Jessica realizes Killgrave has taken over her baby.
