History

Jimmy Yama was a good friend and fellow classmate of May Parker. He attended Midtown High School in Queens, New York with her and was a classic example of a geek. He regularly got picked on by the jocks, including Moose Manfield and Brad Miller. He secretly had a crush on May and wished to ask her out. However, he continually lost the nerve to do so, often because he became the subject of ridicule just as he was about to ask her out. May, however, only liked Jimmy as a friend and this made his attempts to ask her out even more embarrassing. Jimmy eventually started to date Heather Noble. He was not one to stand back, and even stood up to Moose on occasion.
