History
Joey Eliot was presented as the son of Thomas and Thena Eliot while Thena was cast into a human life by Sprite's manipulation of the Dreaming Celestial. However, Sersi remarked that Joey couldn't really be Thena's son since the Prime Eternal is the only one who can allow reproduction among Eternals (and hadn't done so for Thena), but Thena angrily hushed her before she said any more.[1]
The Horde turned Joey into their unknowing spy and killed him once this was discovered.[2] Not too long later, the Dreaming Celestial initiated the Song of the Sleeper and put everyone on Earth, except Eternals, to sleep. After aborting the song, the Dreaming Celestial revived Joey and he woke up in Thena's arms. The Watcher addressed the boy's resurrection to the Dreaming Celestial to which the Celestial responded that the boy was "asleep" and "woke up" with the others; the Watcher smiled in agreement.[3]Notes
- In 2115 A.D., his counterpart demonstrated powers reminiscent of other Eternals.[4]
