- —Hulk[src]
History
Hulk seemingly had the same history as his Earth-928 counterpart. He would go on to join the vigilante group known as the Defenders.[1]
Avengers[]
As a member of the Defenders, John confronted the criminal Martin Hargood. When the Avengers intervened, John turned into the Hulk and focused them outside, where his teammates were waiting.[1]
After settling their differences, the two teams brought Hargood back to Alchemax Tower to be interrogated. Later, Alchemax CEO Miguel Stone offered the Defenders a place at Alchemax, but they declined. However, since it was illegal to be a superhero team operating outside of Alchemax, Miguel declared them criminals. They attempted to escape, but Hulk's temper go the best if him and he ended up being bitten by Stone, effectively knocking him out.[2]
Not long afterwards, Captain America and Hercules rebelled against Alchemax and freed Hulk and Silver Surfer. They would then escape the tower and returned the Sanctum Sanctorum.[3]
Meanwhile, Hargood had escaped from confinement and had summoned the Dweller-in-Darkness. Miguel called them, allowing them to intervene without being arrested. Hulk attempted to fight the Dweller, but was quickly defeated. After Captain America defeated Hargood, Roman pitted Giganto against the Dweller. Giganto was able to inflict enough damage to allow Strange to send the Dweller back where it came from. Later, he was present when Miguel undeclared the Defenders outlaws.[3]Attributes
