A chicken that was manipulated by Sanity Claws, a cult leader, into liquidating his possessions and giving him his money. John's wife, Marsha, sought legal help from Batt Burdock, and in doing so Burdock took action on his secret Deerdevil identity, defeating Claws. John, freed from Claws' control, returned to his wife.[1]
