-- J. Jonah Jameson src

J. Jonah Jameson was the boss at the Daily Bugle. When Peter Parker came in one day to sell pictures of Spider-Man and the The Lizard, JJ offered him $125 for the entire set and told him to get more pictures of actual humans rather than creatures around town.[1].

When a group of former KGB agents known as Pterodax began terrorizing New York City, Parker got pictures of them with Spider-Man and sold them to JJ. JJ did not give him a fair deal on the pictures, but once Peter realized he could sell his video of them to the Empire One radio station, he bargained with JJ for a higher pay and left to go sell his video.
