History
J. Jonah Jameson is the Publisher and CEO of The Daily Bugle. Tony Stark confronted J. Jonah Jameson, as the Daily Bugle under him had spread a lot of slander towards Spider-Man over the years, which the published defended his reason to call Spidey a masked menace. Being Peter Parker, Spider-Man's alter-ego, a photographer for the Daily Bugle, Jameson had assigned him and Betty Brant to interrogate Captain America; out to prove that the accusations of being a traitor were false. He later published a story where Captain America had redeemed himself by saving New York from the Serpent Society and Spider-Man. Spider-Man then decided to web up his mouth to which the Captain had no objections.[1]
