History

The son of stuntman Barton Blaze and cursed Naomi Kale, Johnny Blaze was destined to become the Ghost Rider. Though the Kale family curse did not manifest within Johnny Blaze, a bad deal with Mephisto lead to him being taken over by the demon Zarathos and becoming Ghost Rider. After years of battling demons, the bond between Blaze and Zarathos was broken by the Beyonder. Blaze defeated Zarathos, who became trapped in the Crystal of Souls with his old enemy Centurious. This effort turned out to be in vain, as Johnny Blaze has became inhabited by Zarathos once again.
