Synopsis for "Eustis Hayseed"
Eustis promises Honey Jeeper he'll help her pay off her mortgage before Mr. Squeeze can foreclose and take her house. Eustis and Chief Blackfeet stumble upon a man talking to a horse and offers to buy him. At first they try to make money selling admission to see the horse but Sea-Cupcake is bashful and doesn't talk. The they enter him in a horse race and despite being the slowest horse a tornado carries him over the finish line to first place.

Powerhouse Pepper gets shot at on his way to Greasy Gulch so he turns around and investigates who did the deed. He quickly finds out it was Gunpowder Gus and Saddlesore Sam that did the deed and he chases them all the way to the North Pole where and Eskimo keeps them.

- Honey Jeeper, girlfriend of Eustace Hayseed, suddenly disappears after this issue. It is possibly that the writers forgot about her, because a new girlfriend named Choo Choo will be introduced in Joker Comics #12 and become Eustace's co-star.
