Synopsis for "Tessie the Typist"
Tessie meet with a man looking for someone who doesn't work in her office then goes to the bank and asks a bunch of questions. Tessie then wakes up late and rushes to work only to realize it's Sunday and she doesn't work on Sundays. Tessie is about to ask for a raise when her conscious makes her belief she isn't worth one so she marches to her boss and demands he not give her a raise. Tessie stays up all night typing letters for her boss who tells her he doesn't need them the following day.

Synopsis for "Tommy Gunz"
Tommy tries to use shells that are bigger than the cannon. Tommy counts sheep to try and sleep. Tommy and the rest of his squad are working on Tommy's catching skills when the Sarge orders them to practice dropping bombs. They use this as an excuse to let Tommy continue to practice his catching skills on the bombs. Tommy finds a sea mine on the beach he mistakes for a beach ball. Tommy stops a saboteur but eats his "lunch" that were actually explosives.

Synopsis for "Rolly and Solly"
It's General Ade's birthday and Nazi saboteurs get Rolly and Solly to deliver him a present before swapping it out with a bomb. Rolly and Solly first alarm the General desk before finding out the present is a bomb and try to retrieve it. While attempting to get it back they inform the General of its contents who quickly gives it to Rolly. Rolly then sticks it in the pants of one of the spies Heilski Hitlerwitz who runs away with it on his person.

Synopsis for "Eustis Hayseed"
Eustis Hayseed and Chief Blackfeet are hired to find a missing woman named Baby who's mother believed she was kidnapped. The pair find the woman in the forest but she wasn't kidnapped she just followed the most "manly man" after being tired of "glamor boys" so she shacked up with Butch. After Eustis beat up Butch, Baby gladly followed him back to her mother who rewarded the two with $5,000. A near by tax collector charged them $4,999 with a service charge of $500 leaving the pair broke again. Using their last two bits Eustis buys a book called "How to be a Detective" which includes disguises and a badge. Putting on the disguise doesn't make the Chief react so he takes it off which scares a nearby woman.

Synopsis for "Powerhouse Pepper"
