Synopsis for "Snoopy and Dr. Nutzy"
Dr. Nutzy builds a time machine that he and Snoopy initially use to look into the past and see Cleopatra and Mark Anthony kissing each other. The kiss is so great it blows one of the time machine's tubes.
After fixing it the two actually enter the machine with the intention of going to 52 BC but instead are transported to the 52nd Dimension where they meet card people who take them to their king. Dr. Nutzy and Snoopy are then informed that the evil invader Reltih of the Totem Pole People are trying to invade Jokerland and kill the Card People. Dr. Nutzy and Snoopy agree to help them in their war against the tyrant.
During the battle Dr. Nutzy, Snoopy, and the King of Jokerland are taken prisoner at which point Dr. Nutzy and Snoopy are starting to get hungry and ask for food. Both the King of Jokerland and Reltih are confused by this. Dr. Nutzy comes to the conclusion that they don't eat and thus also don't cook. That's when Dr. Nutzy asks Snoopy for some matches which scare of the Legions of Reltih.
Later the Legions of Reltih kidnap Dr. Nutzy and Snoopy but Snoopy tricks Reltih into lighting himself and the camp on fire, defeating the tyrant. The two heroes then ask to take one of the Card People back with them, but when the pair do they realize the Card Person turned into an ordinary playing card in their world.

Synopsis for "Tessie the Typist"
Tessie looks for her lunch, filed under "L". She then meets with Skidsy outside her building, but he's late on account of going inside to look for her just as she was coming out.
Skidsy is asked to entertain Tessie's Aunt Prissy. Prissy however is a lot more energetic and trendy than Skidsy initially suspects. Tessie is upset to see them dancing when she returns from looking for work.
Skidsy takes Tessie to get an ice cream soda, when he sees the soda jerk trick shot the ice cream into the glass Skidsy gives it a try and hits Tessie in the face making her storm off.
Skidsy comes to pick up Tessie early for a date and he's frightened of her appearances while she's getting ready. Tessie throws a vase at him in frustration for coming to get her early.

Synopsis for "Squat Car Squad"
Squat Car Squad chase down a speeding tank for wasting rubber on their tires only to realize it's a United States Army tank. Ashamed they help the next tank only to realize it was a Nazi tank. They chase after it but their tank barrel aims the courage right out of them. The two then run to the end of the comic and turn their squad car into a plane to get away from them.

Synopsis for "Otto Bragg and Snippy"
Otto attempts to to fix a pipe but he causes a leak. Taking advantage of the leak he opens up a swimming pool in his house. His wife was not pleased when she returned home to find it.
Snippy wants to skip school to go fishing so his Uncle Otto dresses up as a kid and goes to school with him. Pretending to be his cousin he goes to school with Snippy and causes mayhem. Eventually the teacher gets so tired of it she asks Snippy to take Otto home.

Synopsis for "Dippy Diplomat"
Citizens are upset with Dippy and want to take him down. While running away from the crowd he falls into an open man hole.
Dippy goes fishing but forgets the bait so he jumps in and catches a fish with his toe.
While writing a document Dippy looks for his stamp collection. Later Dippy is walking near some kids playing baseball. They keep hitting his hat so he puts a sign on it reading "3 shots 5 cents".
Dippy while walking his dog stops at a fancy restaurant and sits at a table. When his steak is served he picks it up and gives it to the spoiled dog instead.

Synopsis for "Tommy Gunz"
Tommy gets a package from his friends at the logging camp. Later Tommy stops what he thinks is a Jap spy but finds out it's simply an innocent man delivering dry cleaning.
Tommy dreams of falling into the Grand Canyon to get a follower for a woman but wakes up as he's being shipped off to the Solomon Islands. On the boat to the islands he gets caught smuggling Theodore, his pet bear, on board and his forced to shovel coal. Theodore proves his worth however when he finds a bomb that was planted on the ship, after its disposal he's declared company mascot.

Synopsis for "The Great Secret"
Cliff Henderson is all the talk of the town with his new chemical creation. While a chemical expert is visiting two thugs attempt to steal the formula when soon after the sheriff visits the shack. While hollering to open the door, Cliff's experiment goes off making everyone in the shack flee outside.
That's when Cliff explains that his creation is a vermin extermination chemical. That the smell alone will cause rats in particular to flee. Using another chemical concoction eliminates the first making it safe to reenter the building.

Synopsis for "E. Radicate de Bugs"
Bugs goes to Comical Magazine to get work as an artist. When the editor asks for a drawing of a cow, Bugs says he can only draw a calf. When the picture is complete it is a drawing of a woman's calf not a baby cow.
Bugs sells "Klutzo", a cure all, to a woman who tries it on her husband's sore throat. It doesn't work due to him drinking it instead of rubbing it on his throat.
Bugs takes love advice from Jedge where he and his girlfriend chew on the ends of a string until they meet in the middle and kiss. When Bugs tries it however his girlfriend sneezed during it and he ended up swallowing the string.
Bugs sells a bad steak to Spunky the cook. It's so "fresh" its smell knocked out the last guy who tried it.

Synopsis for "Rolly and Solly"
Rolly and Solly visit Africa where after seeing the sights and going swimming they are taken prisoner by a Moroccan Sultan and thrown in his prison. Luckily a prisoner has a file and they use it to escape through its bars. With the guard on their trail they bump into a fortune teller who offers to help them but Rolly knocks out for good luck.
Stealing some spare clothes the teller had they disguise themselves as locals and head back to the army base only to be thrown in prison as spies.

Synopsis for "The Human Cannonball"
Scottie volunteers to go into enemy lines to find out information on the Nazi's Flying Tank. Upon doing so via a large cannon he is captured and freely shown the tank by General Krummel and his subordinate Herr Ing. Herr Ing is ordered to take Scottie on a flight in the tank then drop him with a mine. He does so but Scottie lands on a electric mine deflecting cable and is safe. After getting down he informs the two merchant crewmembers that he disabled the tank's control panel causing it to crash. Scottie is promoted to corporal for his hard work.

Synopsis for "Eustis Hayseed"
While traveling Eustis Hayseed and Chief Blackfeet happen upon a wagoned diner and decide to stop there. It's a terrible spot with no food and overpriced bad coffee that they can't afford. The owner is drafted and gives them the diner which they take to the nearby city of Metropolis.
There they charge people to eat at their building in solitude without actually preparing any food themselves. This makes their competitors angry so they plant a slot machine inside their building. Just as they win $40 they are hauled in by the police. The judge has them pay a $40 fine. Upon returning to their diner, their gas is sabotaged and they light a match which causes the diner to fly into a tree where their business is even more successful.
Their rivals continue to sabotage them by lighting the wooden building on fire just as a rich woman spots it and wants it. They pay $10,000 for it. The pair use the money to buy the slot machine so they can hit the jack-pot again for #40. As soon as they do they are hauled in again and fined $40. Jokes on the police though as they still have fifteen cents they had when they started their business...

Synopsis for "The Muddled Mystery of the Moody Mummy"
Pepper tries to join the army but is denied due to his skinny skull that couldn't properly wear a helmet. Dejected he sets off some TNT and lands in Egypt where he meets Professor Potpopper and they take the sarcophagus of King Kuspidor to New York where he awakes and is released.
After seeing the moderns sights and sounds he angerly runs back to his sarcophagus to go back to sleep. Before doing so he knocks Pepper on the noggin causing large welts to form. This gives Pepper an idea. He goes back to the recruiter office and had himself remeasured. With the lumps he's able to wear a helmet and is allowed to join the army.
